This April, we had two great days, as we were able to participate in the 2024 HVG Job Fair. 04. On the 17th and 18th we were present at the HVG Job Fair in the Papp László Arena in Budapest, where most of the exhibitors of the VIP Lounge were invited by the Vegan Business Circle, so the guests of the Job Fair could choose from a selection of delicious plant-based dishes.The guests were clearly happy with the vegan snacks, and the conversations also revealed that more and more senior management in large companies are beginning to recognise the health and sustainability benefits of a plant-based diet.

It is a great honour that after 2023, the Vegan Business Circle has been nominated again in 2024 for the Bridge Budapest Business Community Award in the Communities for Sustainability category. We are also very grateful to you for nominating us for this prestigious recognition. Although we were not the winner of the three nominees this year, the nomination itself means a lot to us. We’d like to thank Bridge Budapest for creating this category in the first place – there are few more pressing issues these days, and it’s good to know that business is also making a conscious effort to help us all create a more liveable world. Congratulations to all the nominees – they do a fantastic job every day. We will keep up the good work to build a plant-based future – and next year we will compete again to finally win this very important award.

2024. On 13 June at Business Fest, Csaba Péntek, Head of VBC, led an exciting roundtable discussion on Vegan products in e-commerce. Among the panelists were Melinda Fehér, owner of Tunki-Tunki, Rita Szalma, commercial manager of Kifli.hu and Zsolt Szikora, the owner of Biorganik Online Kft. Thank Business Fest for providing a space for such topical issues, and it was a pleasure to see how many people were interested – thank you for joining us!
