Vegan Business Circle – Code of Ethics

1. Introduction and Purpose

This Code of Ethics (hereinafter: the “Code”) sets out the fundamental ethical and operational principles governing participation in the Vegan Business Circle (hereinafter: “VBC”) community.

The VBC is an international business community whose purpose is to promote the development of plant-based, ethical, and sustainable economic activities, and to support the establishment of high-quality business relationships among its members.

Participation in the VBC community is subject to the acceptance and compliance with this Code.

2. Principles (Ethical Obligations)

Members of the VBC, as well as any individuals using VBC services (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Participant”), undertake, by their participation, to act in accordance with the following principles:

2.1. Active Contribution

The Participant shall actively contribute to the functioning of the community, in particular by sharing knowledge, connections, and business opportunities.

2.2. Good Faith and Fair Conduct

The Participant shall act in good faith, fairly, and in accordance with generally accepted standards of business ethics within and beyond the VBC community.

2.3. Honest Communication

The Participant shall provide accurate, truthful, and non-misleading information to other members of the community and to business partners introduced through the VBC.

2.4. Quality Relationship Building

The Participant shall strive to establish long-term, mutually beneficial business relationships and shall refrain from purely short-term, transactional interactions.

2.5. Responsible Recommendations

The Participant may only recommend individuals or organizations whose reliability and professional suitability they have reasonably verified, and shall take responsibility for such recommendations.

2.6. Follow-up Obligation

The Participant shall follow up on business contacts, referrals, and discussions within a reasonable timeframe and cooperate with the other party in good faith.

2.7. Respect and Cooperation

The Participant shall treat all members and guests with respect, act in a cooperative manner, and refrain from any form of discrimination.

2.8. Alignment with the Mission

The Participant shall conduct their activities in alignment with the mission of the VBC, with particular regard to promoting plant-based, ethical, and sustainable practices.

3. Principles of Community Operation

3.1. Active Participation

The operation of the VBC is based on active participation and mutual support. Participants are expected to attend events regularly and contribute to the community.

3.2. Membership and Guest Participation

Guests may participate in VBC events on a limited basis. The VBC reserves the right to define the conditions and limitations of such participation at its discretion.

3.3. Operation of Local Groups

Local VBC groups are entitled to establish their own operational rules, provided that such rules do not conflict with the provisions of this Code.

3.4. Protection of Community Integrity

The VBC reserves the right to take appropriate measures to protect the integrity of the community, including, but not limited to, restricting or terminating participation.

4. Final Provisions

This Code shall become binding upon the Participant upon the use of VBC services or upon joining the community.

The VBC reserves the right to unilaterally amend this Code. Any modifications shall enter into force upon their publication.
